AGATHA
In his autobiography, Agatha describes the growing distance between her and her husband after buying a house in the countryside, where he became wont to golf, spending most of his week-end to the sport. But the crisis overtook when, after the death of his mother, Agatha explained the organization take ownership of the family, Ashfield, in Torquay. She and her husband agreed that they would close their house, and she spent the summer in Ashfield with her daughter Rosalind, while Archibald Christie, who worked in London, would stay in his club in the city. With the mission completed, the family would be reunited for a trip to Italy. Agatha spent about three months separating alone in the old documents and objects of the family and decide what would be donated, thrown away, distributed among the relatives - that task, combined with his suffering for the death of the mother, in plunged into a deep depression . At the time combined, Archibald Christie arrived and said he wanted no more traveling, finally, finally admit that during their season in London alone, become involved with another woman (Nancy Neel), and wanted a divorce to be able to marry. These events led to nervous breakdown, which culminated in the disappearance of the famous writer. In December 1926, Agatha of the car was found abandoned with the doors opened at the edge of a lake, without any ticket or evidence of their whereabouts. Intensive searches were made, unsuccessfully, spoke up for kidnapping, murder and suicide, the suspect turned unfaithful husband. However, after 12 days, the employee of a hotel in the town of Harrogate contacted the police, telling a guest of the hotel appeared to be much with pictures missing disclosed the writer. Coming to the site, the researchers found that this was because of Agatha Christie, who had registered at the hotel under the name of Theresa Neel (the same surname of her husband's mistress). [2] Despite the many theories raised about the episode - including the accusation that it was a publicity coup - the author never entered into details about the incident, the official statement was that she had suffered a nervous breakdown, which led to a crisis temporary amnesia. While in his books autobiográficos there is almost no information about the episode of his disappearance, it is believed that in "The Portrait", published under the name Mary Westmacott, Agatha tell much of its history through the character Celia, who believes in suicide after being abandoned by her husband.

DISCUUSION DIRECTOR
I wonder where Rosalind-Agatha’s daughter all the time the story happened.
Is that how mean guys are if they don’t love their partners anymore? Is that how bitter they are that they won’t even care to know the feeling of their wife just like Archiebald.
Is it that possible to pin someone into a murder case where he or she doesn’t notice it?
If Agatha successfully did what she planned of pinning Nancy in a murder case, would she feel contented of doing so? Can that be a form of revenge?
Why didn’t the author let Agatha and Wally be together? And where did she meet Max Wallom?

CONNECTOR
It’s really hard when someone you trust so much betrays you. When someone you treasure so much ignores you. And then that someone doesn’t know that you feel betrayed. Agatha was betrayed by her husband Archiebald. Archiebald is in relationship with his secretary Nancy. And with that reason Agatha was betrayed. I feel with Agatha. I had this group of friends when I was in high school. Yes, I know that it was my fault but as a friend they shouldn’t had left me hanging. They should have understood and comforted me instead. But time heals as they said as we graduated we forgave each other. Today I have new set of friends; I will do everything just to keep our relationship. It’s a one big treasure for me. Before I don’t usually group myself with friends because sometimes I feel that sooner they will all come and go. I don’t want to happen it again. I don’t wanna be left hanging again and I don’t want to be hurt again. I promised myself that I will do my best not to hurt them simply because I love them.
